Besides the work of great Bengali master Muzharul Islam the Delta offers a variety of other modern builidngs by foreign architects like Kahn, Tigerman, Rudolph, Neutra, Doxidadis, Vrooman, Boughey or Dunham.

Historical

The Ganges Delta and the region of present-day Bangladesh has an enormous wealth of building eras, ranging from the Buddhist Pala dynasty (8th-12th century) to the Islamic period of the Sultans, the Mogul period (16th-18th century) and the colonial era (18th -20th century).
